When Ford made that bizarre base running decision, he jammed his throwing hand. The trainer came out, and he stayed in. I wondered what would happen once he threw next—it didn’t go well. Now 4 unearned runs in....

This team is just as bad as last year.

A high school team could play better fundamental baseball.

Horrible baseball.

To be fair, he got trucked by the baserunner. Not sure that would be a legal play in the MLB per the Buster Posey rule.

Why would Wayne ever put Silber in?

I don't get it either. It's totally baffling why we continue to run Cox into LF and Silber to the mound.

I was thinking the same thing - that was definitely the triggering event here.

We have a "good side of the pen?"

We keep playing like we did against Texas state the difference is Stanford is good. Not going to win a single game against a good team with all these mental mistakes. Same reason we can’t advance in the post season anymore.
