Everyone is not realizing the devastating effect this will have on the team-particularly against pressing teams (help) and playing 4 games in 4 nights to win the AAc tourney.

The trap is being readied for us--prolly by Ollie.

ugh.

I'm realizing it. But I feel worse for Martin than I do for us.

Still a mystery why Sampson didn't press us after Martin went out. So many college coaches just hate to press. Gets guys in foul trouble, I guess.

They were in foul trouble early.

But Sampson looked beat before the game was over.

Sampson does kind of have that haggard look all the time.

Most college teams break the press easily and it leads to easy baskets. That said, I’d certainly give it a shot if I were UConn. It’s spacing and passing to break the press. Tubby does a nice job with it.

Love JM and was sick to see he's out. He was awesome with my boys after the Tulane game his Freshman year. I always felt he could be great, but he exceeded everyone's expectations this year. Here's hoping for a solid Senior season.

Sub-250 recruit we landed at the last minute. 3 years of development and he’s an all-AAC player. Have been a HUGE fan from Day 1 because he always played extremely hard, especially on D.

Actually he doesn't or maybe personnel. Last year we were awful and only half our schedule pressed us

I’ve paid closer attention this year. Very good floor spacing usually. Sets up a diamond pattern down the court.

While at Mitchell and back to back state titles, when your best player is your hardest worker the coaching staff is more effective.

Andre Turner is an excellent coach. Very underrated...

Let's hope the players are obedient. The SMU trap on Brewton nearly killed us there at the end. It got scary

It’s never perfect, but he coaches it well. He’s an old school coach and presses haven’t changed much over the years. We still turn the ball over too much, and a true PG would work wonders with this team.

LOL. Is anyone expecting us to win the AAC?

Burke and Garner was quite good at it, also. Our opponents quickly learned the folly of pressing Tiger point guards. Fast break drill....
