Not pointing fingers here, folks - just want to point out that you know damn well the NCAA is NOT going to throw the book at Arizona and NC while letting something that, no matter how minor, Xavier, Creighton, or WS did slide.

I just hope that this is the extent of the schools involved. Even w/o WS, we have a good BB conference - and I, for one, want to keep it clean.

EDIT: Looking at the report now; Seton Hall is in some serious crapola, if true . Fred Van Fleet got paid, but not nearly as much as others. Right now, this might be a matter of having a sliding scale based upon how much was paid to who.

Geez. I knew the usual suspects were most likely to be there but for Gods sake, geez.

At this rate, UCF might end up being an 8 seed in the tournament if the rest of these schools are barred - which I know won't happen. The NCAA doesn't give a damn.

If Greg Marshall was aware of this, well, update your resume to send to a high school on the other end of the country cause that's where you'll be working at.

Honestly it doesn't even look that bad for WSU from what little we know right now. Fred appears to have taken some money from an agent for an unknown purpose during his senior year. There is no indication that anyone at WSU knew about it and FVV wasn't paid to come to WSU.

Obviously all of this can change as we learn more but it looks like WSU's involvement is very limited and other schools have much more to worry about as there were quite a few current players listed in the report.

So if I walk around in Orlando and pass out C notes to random basketball players without anyone in UCF's administration knowing about it you'll advocate for a postseason ban? That's ridiculous.

I would like to say that if WS can prove it had no knowledge of any of this then I take back what I said about a PS ban. In fact, just fine them (1) scholarship and be done with it.

You have to prove the staff had knowledge, not the other way around.
