FBI wiretaps show Sean Miller discussed $100K payment to lock recruit
FBI wiretaps intercepted telephone conversations between Arizona coach Sean Miller and Christian Dawkins, a key figure in the FBI's investigation into college basketball corruption, in which Miller discussed paying $100,000 to ensure star freshman Deandre Ayton signed with the Wildcats, sources familiar with the government's evidence told ESPN.

Now maybe people will begin to better understand why the NCAA selection committee is always biased toward the major programs. It costs a lot of money to put together a "big time" college basketball program and without that $1.5 M/game payout for each NCAA tourney game played, the big boys would be hard pressed to come up with the big $$$$ necessary to put together a big time program.

the Fake News network is reporting that given the current state of Division 1 Men's Basketball the FBI is considering filing federal charges against the NCAA for collusion and lack of institutional control.

I would imagine those revenue streams are kept widely unknown to each other. The $100,000 isn't likely to be coming from any legitimate source. Has the source been identified?

I think all of these programs involved should have the same penalty:

Gene cross runs their basketball program for 2 years.

Look, they cheated, violated rules and spent money on recruits like a sailor on leave. They DIDN’T murder anyone.

Ok. I guess one year is enough to thoroughly destroy their programs.

Takes two to ruin the marriage. Sometimes three or four.
