Broncos outscored and dominated on the weekend 14-1.....yikes
Cullhanes team showed up to play this weekend
I'm not buying the Conrad/Allison excuse for this season. When players go down in a solid program, other players step up. For whatever reason they didn't for us.
You don't get owned 8-0 and 6-1, at home, on the eve of the tournament.
For those not ready to play at a higher level, those scholarships are not guaranteed next year. If you can't bring your A game to Lawson with everything riding on it, you may be better off playing in the USHL or OHL next season. Western can use those scholarships to better use.
And I am GD'd serious about every word I said.

As brutal as this weekend was, it is amazing that we actually could get home ice with 4 or more points at CC. UNO finishes at Duluth while NoDak hosts St. Cloud. However, with the way we played this weekend, all bets are off.

The way we're playing we won't only get swept down at CC, they'll put on a scoring clinic. Don't see 4 points down there no way, no how.

I don't see a sweep at CC. I went to Saturday's Duluth game and the Broncos don't look anything like they did 6-7 weeks ago. Sure, losing Allison was big but not to the point that the Broncos have won once in their last nine. Defense is getting drilled....14 goals allowed vs. Duluth. Blacker looks like his confidence is gone. Teams shoot high on him and he's allowing at least one soft goal per game.
Tough to watch them now. I wish Andy and his staff the best in a season that has gone from promising to a really bad one.

RE: Broncos vs duluth game 1 2-23-18
I thought the boys the last few weekends battled hard and with better goaltending would have won a couple of those games. This weekend looked like mail it in Monday and i am not sure why. At this rate we have four more games left this year and it's over and on to next.
