We usually do well midweek but the backend of the rotation (and the bullpen) has been a total cluster this season. We kept starting JC Keys ergo inevitable game-ruining one-inning meltdowns.

They matter for RPI purposes, but they don't matter when it comes to measuring how good a team is. That's always been my take.

RPI is a mathematical attempt at measuring how good teams are relative to each other. So you may want to rethink that take. It’s like Wookies living on Endor. It does not make sense.

On the RTR prick comment meter, that was about a 4 or maybe a 5. When he starts talking about revoking degrees, that ratchets up to a 9 or 10.

We have all kind of characters and personalities on here. It’s what keeps these forums fun/interesting.

Hell, I know I come off as a d-bag on here plenty.

Nolan on MTSU: +11 for every win/-70 for every loss

http://warrennolan.com/baseball/2018/tea...thern-Miss

Estimation (depends on what teams around us do):

Win 3/3: low 40s
Win 2/3: mid 50s
Win 1/3: mid 60s
Win 0/3: mid 70s

#41 after the win. I’m guessing some teams in front of us lost. Win both tomorrow and we’re possibly in the high 30s.

State beat #6 Arkansas tonight. That is helping our RPI. State will finish in the T50 RPI at year's end, thus giving us 3 more T50 wins. Right now they are #58.

It’s not guaranteed. They need to get to 27 wins, per Boyd’s World. They’re at 20 now.

Heck I like Beagle. Nothing intended against him. Message board banter.

MSU beat #3 Arkansas again today to take the series from them. Bumps their RPI to 51. We're sitting at 38.

They might be playing their way into at-large territory.

Them getting in the top 50 is big for us, obviously.

I'm beginning to think the baseball rpi is a joke. Go look at Arkansas record outside the conference. Very bad losses.

This reminded me of a Trump tweet.

Crooked Arkansas! Their RPI is a joke. Very bad losses out of conference!
