Kendall Coyne
Congratulations to former NU Women’s hockey star Kendall Coyne and Team USA for winning the gold in S. Korea over Canada!
After the crushing loss 4 years ago, they bounced back and got gold this time!
Want to say congrats to former NU player and head coach Laura Schuler of Team Canada as well for having such a solid team as well, but I’m glad she lost this one!
Coyne joins fellow women's hockey alumnae Shelley Looney (1998 w/USA) and Vicky Sunohara (2002, 2006 w/Canada) as the only Northeastern Olympians to win a gold medal.

DVR'D last night and watched it this morning. Fantastic game! For awhile I thought I was
watching a replay of the Sochi gold medal game....especially when we handed them the go ahead goal. Would have been a crusher if they lost. Unbelievable six round shootout!
