Smile Why I'm proud to be a member of the American Conference
Athletes are bigger and can jump higher

Fanbases are larger

Cities are cooler and more interesting

Super duper brand name schools like Cincinnati, Memphis, UConn

Excellent all-around schools like Houston, Temple, Tulsa, UCF, USF, Tulane, SMU, and ECU

Coaches with national reputations

Coaching salaries that are nothing to sneeze at

Every school in the conference has multiple sports in which they can brag about

Big boy football (not just D1)

Excellent, excellent baseball (Wichita State was a baseball first school for many, many years)

Impressive academics

And last but not least... a GREAT conference message board!!!

Naw in all honesty I completely agree. +2 good sir inebriated or not.

Let me also add multiple ranked teams in all the major sports (football, men's basketball, women's basketball, baseball)
