How can the conference fix the American Digital Network?
I think it can be fixed one of two ways

1) We let ESPN take the branding over and it goes the way of SEC Network Plus and ACC Network Xtra where it’s placed on ESPN3 but all the ESPN3 content (which would increase since WBB, BB, SB, etc would be added) will get ESPN graphics and announcers.

Or

2) We go the route of CAA, Big South, etc and offer our owned content up there for free.

I personally would prefer 1 as it makes no sense that all of our content is tied up with ESPN but we have an outside digital network but 2 obviously works and gives a consolidated platform for all the content and most importantly all of it free.

The fix is easy. Every school needs to invest in enough ESPN-3 compliant equipment as possible so that as many events as possible can be self-produced. Once you have stream of ESPN-3 quality self produced events coming from the schools---ESPN-3 will warehouse them for free. Hell, you might even be able to get a little money from that content if you go with someone trying to get into sports like Google or Amazon.

For things like baseball, swimming, gymnastics, soccer, lacrosse, etc... Follow the Pac 12 and set up the distribution through Twitter (app), hire your staff, and sell commercials like independent stations used to sell commercials. American non-revenue sports get sponsored by Nationwide Insurance, Ford trucks, Pepsi Cola, Male Performance enhancers, fortune telling services, etc...

If ESPN wants the material for broadcast or on ESPN 3- Great! Move it over.

I know people like to see results immediately, but something similar to this is in the works.

I don't know about Bob being an advertiser though

If Bob has been enhancing all these years, John Holmes would look like a toothpick in comparison.
