This. I might have yelled the same thing at my screen.

Half of USA’s batters have reached base through six. And we have only given up only six runs without turning a double play.

Midweek games are brutal. This one will be close to 4 hours.

Just survive. People don't look at the score at the end of the year, they look at W or L.

We haven’t pitched well.
We haven’t hit well—especially with runners in scoring position.

The difference is walks and errors. Oh, we are doing those things...but we aren’t walking runs in with the bases loaded and we aren’t committing errors with runners in scoring position.

That’s a low bar but a win is a win in midweek baseball. I would take it.

Also, Montenegro needs to hit lead off.
