Didn't understand it either. We did get tired. I know vs zone players don't get as tired but we got lazy on D... mistake on CK part not to stick with rotation. He played guys he thought would be effective vs zone, have experience vs zone, he may have had a short bench vs Syracuse .

Players need to sit and see the zone from the bench for a few min. When the bench is short players are a afraid to play hard , afraid they will foul, afraid to play hard nosed defense.

I am not totally discouraged, EMU has probably underachieved this year, they are talented.

UT was about even or better than EMU in almost every stat categories except for shooting 11-19 57.9% from the charity stripe. Not going to win alot of games with that free throw shooting.

Agree in the second half. Hesitated on open looks and instead made an extra pass that was a bad decision.

EMU was 11-2 at home, right? So not really a bad loss.

Not everyone. Knape was hesitant, passing a moment late into a turn-over. They were purposely passing OUT of open looks within the interior to preference the 3-pt. They were going to live and die by it.

But I do agree early on the ROTATIONs were crisp, sharp, opened passing lanes, whcih involved everyone but before 2nd half hit, they were back to watching Fletcher. I'll have to stomach to watch a replay to see if I agree with my own impressions.

I agree that this team lives or dies by the 3. Not really good for your team to be like that, but it is what it is. If they can stay hot for the 3 or 4 games in the MAC tourney, they have a chance.

I’d settle for winning just three games in the MACC.
