This happened.

Why wasn't this commemorated in some way. 03-lmfao

That’s still the one game I’ll never get over. Blowing a 7-point lead in the last 2:30. The Berrios travel call. The CDR and 1. The shot from Kinnard that was too late. F it all.

The magic flying whiskey bottle that killed Shawn Taggart AND Fred Smith. The deluge of the Golden Gallons™. The decade-long imprisonment of memphis fans under Bartow Arena.

Legend has it whiskey bottles were raining down killing hundreds of Mempiss players, coaches, and fans.

As the ancient FN proverb says, “The best time to start filling Golden Gallons™ was 10 years ago. The second best time is today.”

The most intense game I've been to at Bartow. It was on another level. We gave the game away.

This game haunts me more than any other. The CDR and 1 was such a ripoff. He walked before the contact, then the call should've been a charge, and even if it was a block, the contact was on the floor.

Such a massive missed opportunity that we had in our grasp. Beating #1 that was undefeated in a game that had national attention. Winning that game would have gotten us in the tournament and with Vaden's shooting we could've made a nice run.

But even so, that's the craziest Bartow has ever been. Just insane hype and crowd noise the entire game from an over capacity crowd. Probably the best sports environment I've been a part of in person.

I wonder was the mempis wording on purpose because mempiss would have been confiscated by the ushers?

Up 7 with 90 seconds to go and we gave up...back to back threes. Some things never change. 05-stirthepot
