Nope. Fans eff stuff up when they know too much. I don't know anything yet I won't complain that I dont.

I get it, but if you know something either eff it up and tell or don't.
Ease up dude. Why can't you just be happy and excited to know some good stuff is coming down the pipe? Details haven't been ironed out yet, so nothing can be said.

Because your teasing the information is a way for you to show that you are in the in; in essence you are show boating that you have information others aren't privy to. Generally speaking, fans who would like to know, but can't for one reason or another, don't appreciate showboats. Either announce the information when you can, or say nothing about a deal being done. However I suspect you aren't quite modest enough for that.

If that is really what you think then your mind operates on an entirely different level than most people I know. As I said before, just be excited to know there's some great news coming, Stop getting caught up in your own little pitty party and most of all grow up. Besides, as someone who has financially supported the program 40 years I should be privy to more information than someone who doesn't belong to the Yosef Club or has never purchased season tickets.

I'd say it's a good thing to have a mind that doesn't match most people I know.

They might be mid level, but they either are or are close to the wealthiest athletic program. The amount of donations they get is insane.

ULM is getting $1.4 million for our 2018 game with TAMU. We signed in 2015. We played them close in 2014 and had chance to win. Berry played not to lose and we lost. Came down to the very end.

I can't remember who, but someone bought that game from us. That's not the only game that has magically disappeared.

Also, the Akron return game is off the future schedule list. They scheduled a 2-for-1 with Kentucky in its place.

The Wyoming return game to Laramie is also gone. That was an ESPN-created home and home that no one actually thought would be completed since the return game was scheduled so far in advance.

There was also a game with FCS Elon set for sometime in the future that's gone as well.
http://www.fbschedules.com/ncaa/sun-belt...ineers.php
FBS Schedules still has Akron and Wyoming on our schedule.
9/18/2021 - Elon
09/24/2022 - Akron (Akron at ky 2021,ky 2023, at ky 2024)
09/23/2023 - at Wyoming

Again, this is a mentality in which you aren't actually previewing anything. You simply say, "Big News Coming Right Up" but can't divulge information any further. Personally, I suspect the lack of detail provision and the small headlines likely are your Id screaming out for validation. Good ol' Boy clubs tend to operate in the manner you described above; being someone who isn't near 40 years of age, I find the comment about being privy simply for being senior to be a misleading justification.

My point is that either you should give up the information, or say nothing at all. You could easily say that something is in the works, which would be vague enough yet not scream "look at me, I have information about some big news that may or may not be announced this month, next month, or in 12 months; the deal may also fall through".

P.S. Movie trailers are not synonymous with what has been said. What is being said is similar to some actor, from a by gone series of movies, tweeting some cryptic message about a potential reunion.

Wow. I can't believe that people are implying that a message board poster might have an ego. I thought we were all here purely for the love of open, honest communication and competition (within the context of good sportsmanship and fair play of course!).

Just a couple of points:
1) Those who are "in the know" might tease, but will never "give it up" or they would no longer remain "in the know."
2) Individuals described in #1 might or might not be ego driven, but those who demand to be told might also be "entitlement" driven. Why do you think you have a right to know just because you WANT to know?

There is some other big news that may or may not happen different from what everyone else is talking about and if it happens, everyone is going to be really happy!!! I'll tell you what it was after it's announced, if it is finalized and gets announced. But just to make sure it isn't the same thing, you guys should tell me what yours is and if it's the same thing, I'll confirm.

I'm no longer going to tease. App State is hosting Michigan at home in 2021. If it doesn't actually happen, it's because I blew it by posting it on a message board..... a message board, the communication of the future.

Good luck with that. They caused quite a scene in Statesboro. One of them was arrested on stage, and they are the reason GS doesn't do spring concerts anymore.

Screaming our for validation & look at me? From some 20 something year old kid? Seriously?

With apologies to Jack Nicholson.
AppManDG: You want answers?
ericsaid: I think I'm entitled to them.
AppManDG: I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to someone who portrays himself as an expert on App State Athletics even though did not attend App State, does not purchase season tickets, or gives money to the Yosef Club. I would rather that you just be happy to get some inside information as to the good things coming and said "thank you" and went on your way. Otherwise, I suggest you take out your wallet and start buying tickets and contributing the way I did 40 years ago. Either way, I don't give a D&%@ what you think you're entitled to!

Long story short, unfortunately you're just going to have to put up with it because there are others who actually understand why I can't say certain things and appreciate the heads up.

Right. Basically, "I know something you don't know, and I'm not gonna tell you". I just don't see the point in saying anything at all if you can't say everything, but maybe I'm old fashioned.

Not that we haven't all heard the rumors.

I cringed when I saw this earlier today. Guess the folks at App didn't check their police records.
