We should be able to run the ball.

I believe Mitch Berg redshirted last season. Most of the sophomores you have listed redshirted so they would be RS Fr.

Better be able to. Not going to have an experienced QB that can be expected to get the Offense out of 3rd and long situations. Probably going to see Defenses jam the box until the Rockets consistently burns them with the passing game. Navy's Flexbone Triple Option would fit Guadagni's skill set. Wouldn't mind UT adding that to the Offense's repertoire.

At least add more zone read to offense. Add more run and pass option plays also.

I believe that collectively they were known as the "Incredible Bulk."

Kassem is not back... I believe it’s a 2018 roster error. He was a senior in 2017 and played so I do not think he is back for 2018

Not sure, but I think you are correct.

He is listed as having taken a redshirt after he came aboard from a JC. Then he sat out all of the next year. What I don't know is if that second year was because of an injury that he could get a waiver on. Otherwise he is done (2) JC for 2 years, (1) RS, (1) no action (1) played in 12 games - with 9 as a starter. That adds up to (5) years, so his 4th year would have to be for a medical hardship for him to have any time remaining at UT.

Quite a few of the younger guys are listed at the same weight that they signed at out of high school. UT isn't very good at updating those stats, but you can bet most of them have added significant poundage.

Large bodies are nice but it didn’t help Arkansas’ run game against UT in 2015. The line must be great blockers with mobility. First and second level blocking ability is key. Skill sets matter.

I'm always under the belief that if skills are equal, I'll take the guy with the bigger body and more strength over the guy with the same skills, but is smaller. I really don't care what a guy benches, or what he runs the 40 in if he is on the OL. I want the guy with size, with quick feet, and who knows how to get leverage on the guy he is blocking - and he also knows who he is supposed to be blocking when stunts are run or blitzes are called. And I definitely want the guy who knows how to hold without being caught and doesn't forget the snap count 15 seconds after it is called in the huddle.

Too much analysis. Need big guys opening holes and occasionally moving the pile.

I'm always under the belief that if skills are equal, I'll take the guy with the bigger body and more strength over the guy with the same skills, but is smaller. I really don't care what a guy benches, or what he runs the 40 in if he is on the OL. I want the guy with size, with quick feet, and who knows how to get leverage on the guy he is blocking - and he also knows who he is supposed to be blocking when stunts are run or blitzes are called. And I definitely want the guy who knows how to hold without being caught and doesn't forget the snap count 15 seconds after it is called in the huddle.

In other words you prefer good offensive linemen over bad ones.

Too much analysis. Need big guys opening holes and occasionally moving the pile.
