When I was at ECU, one of my history professors told us that when "The Patriot" came out, the entire ECU History faculty went to the movie together. They apparently picked the movie apart the entire time... their biggest complaint (of MANY) was that everyone in the movie was about 20 years too old.

I went to see "Life" (Eddie Murphy & Martin Lawrence) on opening night in Winston-Salem... I was one of only 2 white people there.

Nobody was angry about me being there, and we all thought the movie was hilarious.

If I waited for Black people to watch this movie first than it wouldn't be hard to be there the first day. Honestly, I'm not kidding, there are very few Black people going to the movies in El Paso. I haven't seen many Black moviegoers. Perhaps it's because they're only 3% of the population or they don't like to go to theaters. I don't know the answer.

Just as I was looking at this womans' picture that thought came to mind. Probably the REAL reason that she wants to wait isn't so much to give Black people space and a chance to see it first but because she doesn't like to associate with them. In other words she's trying to come out all PC and instead is showing her true racist feelings.
