Says the most important thing with the new TV contract is money and says he thinks we got a better deal than CUSA.

Talks about opportunity for broadcast journalism programs on campus to do be able to do games.

On midweek football games, asks "would you rather play at 7:00 on Thursday or 11:00 on Saturday"? (if we can get the same amount of money, Saturday Terry)

When asked if it's worth having a MBB conference tournament in a one bid we league he pauses for a moment and says "well, it's exciting". LoL.

"#1 priority for league is to get best seed in possible" (That doesn't appear to be the case at all.)

I appreciate the candor with the subject on midweek games (we need the money, get over it, even Power 5 leagues are having them) but he kind of goes into BS spinning mode when it comes to the tournament.

I thought the most interesting topic was creative men's basketball scheduling to help ensure our best team goes to NCAA.

How about two divisions upper and lower based on last year's standings . . .
How about a double elimination conference tournament at home school home floors with only the final 4 played at a a neutral site or at regular season champ?

It is time to combat this BS that the $5 have created with their insistence on not playing at our arenas.

I would play a game at 9:00am Saturday before a Tues, Wed, or Thurs game. College football is meant to be played on Saturday.

Of course, I also want my school to have money.

You HAVE to play games during the week. There are enough teams to spread the games around so most of our games are on Saturdays but viewership is watered down severely on a Saturday.

I HATE pre-noon kickoffs. I can leave work at 4:30 and make a 7pm kickoff if I really have to. An 11am kickoff I need to be out of the house by 9:30 am and that sucks.

If schedules were set to suit me it would be 6pm until the third Saturday in October at which point we would shift to 1:30pm for the rest of the season. I however lack the funds to give AState the money ESPN pays and the exposure they offer.

Regardless of when App plays on Saturday at Noon or 8 p.m., I'm at tailgate no later than 8 a.m.
