RE: Cincy, run at the Title?
UC has the players to do well and make a run in the NCAA tournament.

But the secret is they need to start the game strong and never let up.

They have to put two good halves together.

If UC starts slow (like they typically do) against better competition I'm afraid they won't be able to overcome it like they have been able to do in the AAC.

Not the UCF fan that said round of 32. Ok well they’ve won plenty of championships...so yeah much better than hearing from your cheddar a$$.

On point assessment.

I don't expect a lot of folks here to acknowledge that though, as there is a lot of butt hurt as a result of the ass-whoopings half the league has taken at the hands of the Bearcats.

You have no point guard therefore you have little chance. You've earned your living in this league beating up on dumb and dumber. The NCAA tournament will be loaded with teams that run like a Swiss watch. Beating the piss out of people then throwing the ball over the backboard only works to an extent.

The 3 guys who run the point for us have a 9.3 - 4.3 assist-to-turnover ratio, with our starting point guard sitting at about 3.1 - 1. I'm not concerned about our point guard play. Our team is extremely unselfish and all 5 starters are very capable (and willing) passers.

I agree. PG play is a non-issue and if it becomes one Evans has shown the ability to be effective from there. The biggest determining factor for our success in the tourney will be Kyle; if he's able to hit his hook-shots (like he has as of late) then we are unbeatable. You just can't defend that. It never looks pretty but it usually goes in.

Cincinnati has a great team this year, I wouldn't be surprised at all to see them make a solid run at it. The tournament is such a fickle thing, though. Great teams routinely get bounced in the first two rounds. Any talk of title runs before something as irrelevant as the college basketball regular season is even over is premature.

Agree there's a lot of basketball left with some key games remaining on the slate for the Bearcats. Final four teams are dominated by 1 and 2 seeds. If the Cats can take care of business (I don't believe we will finish undefeated in the American) enough to hang on to a 2 seed then I like our chances as much as anybody to make a run at a title. Right now, I'm more focused and interested in winning the regular season conference championship. We shall see...

Way too sensible for this board.

Cincy have a shot at going all the way this year? They seem red hot right now.

They have to get to the Sweet 16 to win the title.

And yes, let's hear your Houston smack, it shouldn't be too hard to come up with.

Why waste the effort on Houston?

Houston is selling family four packs for the game on Thursday. 4 tickets, 4 hot dogs and 4 drinks for 40 dollars. Will that deal attract 400 fans?

Also Red Panda is going to be the half time show, I would pay $40 just to see her alone.

She's been messing up lately. I'm not sure she's worth the full $40.
