Herd wins against Rice 93-80, Burks w/ 36, Elmore 28. Very tough game, Rice was on fire, GG Owl fans, just hit a cold stretch late which was fortunate for the Herd.

We’ve got Marshall and WKU at home and we’re overdue. My prediction? Rice doubles its conference win total this week by sweeping two unsuspecting top tier squads.

You were saying.....

It wasn't easy but it was a win for Marshall

Ok. I think the whatever floats your boat line can stay with you.

You guys were playing with fools gold. There was no way you were going to keep shooting like that for a full 40 minutes against the best FG% defense in the league.

ODU scores 100 tonight. Can't remember the last time that happened in a non exhibition game

BTW, good game USM. We didn't play bad. Kind of like our game with Charlotte your guys came to play, but I guess our guys should be used to getting everyone's best shot. Kermit even made a similar comment that we played pretty well and y'all played toe to toe with us.

Most of these games last year were easy wins. Just in watching all the games over the last couple of years it is very evident how much better the league is this year than last year. Frisco is going to be a crap shoot.

Perfect storm tonight. That was probably the worst game we've played in Coach Henson's two years at UTSA. We were even 10-26 from the free throw line, and we shoot 70% there. Meanwhile, ODU also just played REALLY well tonight. Stith was unstoppable. Kind of an *******, but helluva player. Congrats on the win, ODU.

UTSA ran straight into a buzz saw tonight but Jackson is going to be a thorn in the side of CUSA teams for the foreseeable future. Good luck till we see you next Runners.

That was a career high game for BJ by a good margin, if he seemed high on himself it was for good reason

First 100-point game for the Monarchs since 1996 according to ODU radio announcer, Ted Alexander. By the way, the dress is in the bag (for all you Monarchs)!

MIddle is damn good. Game changed with the switch on defense, the trap ate us up. Thought we had a punchers chance until Griffin pulled a groin. Nice gesture by your staff, they all walked to the end and spoke to him after the game.

BJ got a technical for looking a player for one second too long after a dunk. I have a feeling this one won't be going viral.

Trash talking Rice after a win (this year) is the Marshall-iest Marshall basketball thing ever.

Yeah he got benched for it but I don't think he cared. It was a nice cherry on top of a hell of a game.

Stansbury's facial expressions cracking me up. He looks like his wife burnt his dinner and he's about to show her her place.
