RE: Memorable trick plays
NIU was a 14 point underdog at Purdue that day, and during the replay review on previous pass play before the fake point, the special teams coordinator told Jerry on his head set that "he liked the formation of Purdue punt return team to run the fake punt". Jerry said these are the types of decisions that gets a coach fired and said "go for it!".

Later that night on the B10 network, they were saying it is not fair when you are playing a team that runs a fake punt on 4th and 2 from its own 18!!!!!! I guess it is not proper to run a trick play against a big 10 team.....

RE: Memorable trick plays
The most memorable trick play was hearing that Wisconsin signed a contract to play at Huskie Stadium and then later the game was shifted to Soldier Field.
This caused irreparable damage to the local fan base.
