Welcome back, Julian. Hope your immersion into MdDCVa recruiting while at the Mount pays dividends back home.

RE: Coaching Carousel
Nice get by Shaver. Not Boatner's fault but the Mount is going to struggle next year. Top 6 guys (and 7 of 8) for minutes this year graduated or transferred. 3 of top 5 in minutes graduated and rest of the group decided to transfer likely when the head coach left.

Top returner is a Sophomore SF who played 11 minutes per game and averaged 2.6 points per game. Nobody else played more than 11 games last year or averaged more than 5 minutes in the games they played.

Not just a great pick, Julian is the pick. Who better to recruit for your program than someone who has been through it and has a real passion for the school and town?

RE: Coaching Carousel
Great move by Tony hiring a real up and comer in the coaching ranks...who better than our own Julian Boatner!! Makes for a seamless and outstanding transition for the Tribe staff after losing Kobie.

A great young man when he was here and he will only add to the current excitement in the Tribe program
coming up the next several years. And who can forget Julian's "moonshot" three-point shots when he was a player?

RE: Coaching Carousel
Excellent choice. Very excited for Julian. This hire continues what has been a fantastic off season for the team. I hope it works out well for Kotie as well. He did a great job with the team. Would be fantastic if he has a great year next year, all the graduating seniors from this season do well also, and the core of the 18-19 team and staff has an amazing run. Again, I am shocked at how far things have come. Eagerly awaiting a schedule so I can try to plan to see some home games and even a couple on the road next year.

Excellent pick! No one can recruit to a school better than a person who went there and enjoyed it.

Let's keep moving basketball forward!
