I thought Ehsan was best friends with all of the players?
Whose best friend makes them run suicides?
Really! Here it is mid February when the team is beat down tired and given no choice but to run suicides. Thank goodness coach Bartow never took the barbaric approach as make any of his teams run suicides in mid February as punishment for losing two games in a row riddled with missed three point shots and turnovers. Coach Ehsan and his assistant coaches should have been the ones running suicides.
I suspect that Coach is preparing them for the tournament realizing they will be playing 4 games in 4 days and wanted to build up stamina. No one has said it was punishment. Tired legs and a loss might be a decent trade off for a tournament win. This is all conjecture.
You haters can't have it both ways. You can't complain that he tries to be a best friend and then complain that he makes them run suicides as punishment. You can't complain that the style of play is boring because they don't run enough, but then complain that they run too much in practice.
Awe, now, you know I am not a coach or team hater. It just reminds me of way back in 1980-81, when UAB made it to the NCAA Final 16 in UAB's first appearance in the NCAA Tournament. Craig Lane's lower back was severely strained throughout the Conference Tournament, as well as against Western Kentucky, Kentucky, and Indiana. He could barely jump six inches off of the ground. I saw him grimacing in pain during practices and in the games, and after games in the locker room.
I certainly hope Chris Cokley is not having to run suicides with a strained back and/or ankle. It just ain't right. Five regular season games left until Conference Tournament begins. They have to have him ready, even if it means holding him out until his lower back has had ample time to recover.

You do realize all the guys did in Anderson’s practices was run, right? Running is a part of any sport, and conditioning often becomes the difference in a close game.

Crane said family matter. The rest is simple math. Does not take a brain surgeon to figure it out.
But, if you are confident he didn't quit earlier in the year, how about a huge wager?
Didn't think so.
No. I am just curious what happened. You seem to know the whole story. Wondering how you know? You wouldn't be a Lavender family member would you? Otherwise, you are just making a bunch of guesses.
And you are always wanting to wager on anything?

I'm confident in my educated guesses. You are trolling.
you are the one who said they lied with NO INFORMATION to back it up. you did not say "I don't think it was a family issue" you said "Because "family matter" was a lie." then got defensive when you were called on it. someone calling you our for talking out of your ass is not trolling. if you don't like people questioning your statements stop acting like you know something is a fact when you don't. its simple all you have to do is start the statement with something like 'it appears' or 'it looks like'.
Its a message board. "it appears" or "it looks like" is not needed.
In fact, I often times say its speculation.
Interesting how you don't add anything to the conversation but just attack a fan.
Its fine. I'm a big boy. I don't crying to moderators. But if you have top secret info, by all means do tell.
Please, in the future, do not bet your life on anything I post on a message board.

I have no problem with having them run suicides.
But, by god, if any of our coaches yell at the players, then they should all be fired.
And if anyone ever let a curse word slip, they must be put to death.
That's a joke based on all the coaches who get fired in recent years because the players are delicate flowers and nobody ever told them there would be accountability.

But, certain posters did not believe me when I said it appeared he quit the team 2 months ago.

He didn't QUIT the team at any point. You probably need to stop guessing.

RE: Deion Lavender off the team?
So if he didn't quit, is it safe to assume he was kicked off the team? I know his body language has been bad for awhile with his disappointment in playing time and I know he has been vocal with a few tweets about wishing he was given a chance and had more playing time. I could see that rally hurting chemistry, especially when other teammates (Smallwood) start to retweet Deion's messages.

David Crane told the 100.5 listening audience that he mutually agreed to leave after meeting with Ehsan.

I don't know. You almost have to purposefully remove his entry from the roster.

He was also very outspoken supporting Deion and might have decided to leave as well with him.
