Rob’s taken his lumps on the board lately, but he’s got to get credit for leading the team to a late comeback like that. 15-1 run to close it out!

Wait... are we talking about giving him credit for having to pull out a comeback win against a 5 win Rice team at home?

Yep, I think it shows growth in his coaching.

I know I’ve already said it a few times on the board, but a stat that was shared earlier in the season about his record when getting a 10 point lead vs. not getting one was alarming to me. So to see him get a win like this is a good sign to me.

Alumni game today. 30-40 past players were there. I didn't know about it.

Ehsan says Coke is not healthy. That would explain the quick sub, I guess.

There are good stats too.

Lee 6-9
Zack and Nick 8-8 from the line.
61-56
Lee 5 blocks.

Yes. If he gets blame for losses, he gets credit for wins.

I don't think that you understand how this works. When you are clearly more talented and you are struggling to beat a gawd awful Rice team at home, there's no credit to be had because your team is clearly underperforming. Had he pulled out a W against Auburn, that would have warranted credit. It's not that difficult to understand but you can give credit wherever you'd like.

Thanks, I will! I appreciate the permission to do so.

You know how it goes on here these days, doesn’t matter whether you’re positive or negative, someone is going to tell you you’re wrong, so...

Would it have been better that they lost. The team played badly but he made the right coaching moves to pull out the win. That's a good thing in my book and is how I understand how it works. I know a win makes you work a little harder to bash the coach, but it can't be easy all the time.

Very poorly promoted. Only found out about it on twitter after the game. I had to work so I missed the game at Bartow.

Can't get too excited about having to make a drastic comeback to win in the final minute of a game at home against a single digit win team. Better than the alternative, but still... nothing to hang your hat on as a coach. It's more of an embarassment to even be down like that to such a bad team at home.

I agree that something is wrong. Coach mentioned on the post-game show that Cokley is really struggling with a bad back. That’s doesn’t bode well for us when we are such a poor 3-point shooting team. At times three Rice players were collapsing on Cokley when he had the ball. Look for more of that in the remaining games.

Something has been wrong since we went 0-3 in the Caymand Island tournament.

That's been the game plan more and more as the season has gone along. We have no offensive rhythm if Cokley isn't on...

If you haven't noticed, adjustments are being made. We are shooting a lot more threes. They aren't going down though.

What adjustments do you suggest?

More than Cokely back problem - many have had off games of late. Maybe this is the start of the breaking of the slump only time will tell.
