RE: Bubble Watch
Temple may very well be in with tomorrow's brackets. 1 thing that was huge for them like Jerry Palm was saying- the bracket reveal showed that they were valuing quality wins and hard schedules. Temple has both of those. I think they are bare minimum tomorrow going to be one of the 1st 4 teams out. With a HUGE week this week- if they can split, and win the final 3 games, they should be absolutely 100% safe.

UCF seems firmly in the NIT at this point. SMU is in NIT territory too but could play their way out if injuries continue to take a toll. Tulsa can easily play their way into the NIT discussion since 5 of their last 6 games are winnable.

Memphis probably has the easiest final 6 games but since they've lost 5 of their last 6, they're out of the NIT discussion for now.

Houston is firmly in the NIT.

LOL...you have the worst takes. In what realm are you living in? Right now Houston would be the 10th seed, how is that not in?

Lunardi said safely in, so I guess we are gaining on firmly.

Houston is in unless they tank the rest of the way. That goes for about anyone who is in, however.

Since the Penders days, my Coogs have been "on the bubble" a number of times. In those instances, we've gotten in exactly ZERO times. In 2010, a tournament championship guaranteed selection. But until someone surprises me and reads our name on selection day, I'm going to assume there's no way in heck we actually get in. Because it never seems to go in our favor.

A tourny championship gets anyone in, it's the auto.

You can rest easy, Houston is in barring two losses to ECU and/or USF. Since it's nearly impossible to even get two games against either one or both you're safe. Two more victories vs Wichita, Cincy, or Temple should get you a number 4 seed. Otherwise you are a 6-8 seed. I ran all the games to get rpi ranges. Barring the afore mentioned double loss Houston is a top 40 RPI, safe territory.

I will attest to the greatness of UC's 1996 and so will Penny Hardaway

That was 92 and I was at all 4 Memphis losses to UC that year when Huggins owned Larry Finch and his colorful zoot suits.
