The UofM is cheaper than his high school. And if he is a decently smart in-state kid, then tuition is probably covered already.

I don't understand why he'd be a PWO with an academic scholly. The only angle that makes sense to me is that CMN & staff asked him for a solid, given that he would get his tuition covered and a small stipend. This would allow the UofM to sign 1 more kid. I'm sure they committed to him getting a FB scholly in the Spring of '19.

Trust me. There is an ego thing with being a player and on a full ride and rightfully so.

i think there are other pwo who are using academic vs football scholarships for 2018

From my understanding Will picked up a ton of those offers as a freshman & sophomore. He never really got as physical as people hoped he might. He has outstanding footwork which is what impressed so many coaches. hopefully our staff can get him aggressive.

Also maxprep says his bench is 270. He needs to live more in the weight room.
