It seemed a little suspect to me that the #11th ranked recruiting class in CUSA was our second best ever. Turns out, according to 247 sports, its our third best class ever. Though thats some good spin, calling #11 out of 14 the "2nd best ever!". 1A recruiting rankings for CUSA have been:

So after trending the wrong way for several years, it seems we may have started heading in the right direction again. I would have hoped the new stadium would have gotten us in the top half again, but maybe we will see a bigger bump next year. I hope.

Rivals, which some feel is more accurate, has us also at 12 of 14 in CUSA. Rivals only reports the top 100 nationally, and we are not on that list.

I personally think that, except for early commits, the best indicator at our level is the interest and offers that a player receives from other programs.

Whether you believe in the rankings or not, it has been shown, with only a few exceptions, that recruiting rankings since we have been in CUSA have correlated closely to conferencing standings.

Our class is ranked 114th, and is our best since 2015. Take that info as you will.
