A timeout saved is a timeout earned.

When was he going to figure out that the bench was hot, and the starters were ice cold?

RE: 14-4 and 19-3 runs
I remember the goofballs last year who defended tubby whenTemple went on a 25 to 2 run and he never called a time-out. They kept saying "but there were TV timeouts."

Maybe those folks can come out of the woodwork again this morning.

RE: 14-4 and 19-3 runs
8:00 start time was already delaying his 9:30 bedtime, a timeout would have only forced him to stay up longer, so I get it. My wife gets cranky the next day if she stays up too late...

The way the guys were playing timeouts probably wouldn't have made a difference but hey we will never know

Maybe he's been comparing notes with Pastner

Though, in Josh's defense, he actually learned to take timeouts to break up runs in his final 2-3 years.

He also had the aggravating habit of taking timeouts during OUR runs.

Some here proclaim to like data. Try this one on. But what do I know - I'm just a goofball living in the woodwork, who probably would have called a TO.

Do timeouts stop runs?
