Have to imagine Stretch's absence played a role in the blown lead.

DAC Magic went Poof tonight. That was a devastating loss, and can't figure out what happened. As well as they played in the first 15 minutes of the 2nd half to take a convincing lead, they played equally as bad down the stretch and did just about everything wrong.

What makes this game so bad is that it kills the momentum they were riding on their winning streak and had a chance to tie Towson and maybe sneak into the 6 seed or higher for the tournament. Now with this really tough 3 game road stretch coming up, it looks like a guarantee that they'll finish in the bottom 4.

Disappointing game. We had a chance to be in a three-way tie for fifth place. Now with a tough 3-game road stretch and the possibility of Stretch missing time, things look grim for getting out of seventh.

I put this one on Spiker. We were playing not to lose instead of to win down the stretch. I get wanting to use up time, but the way to do it is to run the offense and just make really sure you get a good shot, instead of waiting until 10 or 15 and then throwing up some crap shot.

Something that sticks out in the box score is Kurk Lee with 0 assists. That last play of regulation would have been a good time for one.

You have to give credit to Morsell and Martin for not giving up. I had a bad feeling even when we were up by 18 when I saw that Martin was looking as though he wanted to take over. We could have handled it if it was just him but when Morsell started draining threes too, it was the bump they needed.

Definitely a brutal loss. When up 4 in OT their basically 4 point play summed up our collapse pretty well. Make the first FT, miss the second, grab the rebound (that wasnt even a long rebound) pass out and drain a 3. Boxing out down the stretch was a big problem for us, on top of horrendous shot selection. Way too much ISO ball instead of working the ball, especially after we got a big lead. Time to show something on the road again and show that W&M wasn't a fluke. It is amazing how different we are on defense without stretch.

This isn't about yesterday, but http://collegebasketball.nbcsports.com/2...ble-teams/ says:

"HOUSTON (RPI: 38, KenPom: 35, NBC seed: Play-in game): Houston added another Quadrant 2 win to their profile on Thursday night, as they knocked off SMU at home. The Cougars have a gaudy record, a 3-2 mark against Quadrant 1 teams and a 6-4 record against the top two Quadrants. The biggest issue right now: How did this team lose to Drexel?"

Houston is 13-0 in home or neutral games not against Drexel, and 8 of the opponents have a better RPI than Drexel.

When we beat them our comment then was that loss very easily could be the reason they miss the tournament.

With Stretch off the floor there was little to no defense inside - Towson was basically scoring at will in the paint in the 2nd half. That was the game.
