Rice Baseball: Roll Call For Orlando and Palo Alto
Rice opens the season with 7 of our first 8 games on the road, including 5 games against Top 25 opposition (UCF, Virginia, Stanford x 4). Tickets for the Orlando tournament are $10/game, whereas the games at Stanford's Sunken Diamond are $5 for Thursday and $7 for Friday - Sunday.

Our group will be roadtripping to both weekend series.

Given the Florida locale, I suspect the Canterinos, DiCaprios and Kravetz's will all be attending the Orlando tourney next weekend, along with the Chandlers, Procters and Esquivels, who usually roadtrip to all games.

As for the Stanford series, we always have a large Rice contingent in Palo Alto, and a Rice-sponsored tailgate and happy hour are being scheduled.

I am planning on going to the Orlando tourney. I could not find tickets on Ticketmaster for the Sunday game. Do you know if they are sold out? Doesn't seem like they would be.

Why go to Ticketmaster? Go to the UCF site to buy your tickets. Cannot believe the Rice - UVA game on Sunday is sold out. Highly implausible.

For the first time ever on this forum, I get to say I plan to be there: specifically, the opener at noon on Friday in Orlando. Then it’s straight to the airport after the game, but really looking forward to it.
