AState had a big locker room blow up after the Troy game. Leading scorer Devin Simms, was dismissed from the team effective immediately.

As a result we're getting absolutely flattened at South Alabama. Down as much as 25 at one point 83-61 in the last couple minutes.

Jags beat the Red Wolves 87-67.

Did you watch the Troy game? I did. What I saw was Simms trying to make it his game. Not sharing the ball and trying to do stuff he should not have. Balado seems to be looking for a "team" culture, not a "me" culture. I suspect that had a lot to do with it. But this is just my observations from outside the program.

Thanks Texas State. Kevin Hervey was a beast tonight with 33 points and eight rebounds. The last stat vaulted him number one all-time in the Maverick history books. Had he been at this level all season, a couple of those losses would be wins.

That said, we still don't have a consistent interior game and give up too high a field goal percentage while on D.
