Women are 11-0 in conference....
...and not one single post about them on here.
Quit talking about the men's lost season and start talking about this team. It'll take away some of the stress.
By my count, they'll clinch the regular season with four more wins since South Alabama lost today.

That South Alabama loss was huge. We only play South Alabama once and it is in Mobile this Thursday morning, probably in front a several thousand screaming school kids. If they hadn't lost yesterday, a USA win would have put them in first place, with the tie-breaker. Now we have a little breathing room. I agree with you that we need to focus on the positive. Being a UA-Little Rock fan can be tough, so it helps to focus on something we are really good at.

Speaking of the women, Charlie Crème has them as a 15 seed. I can't really argue with him, since 3 of the 14 seeds are fellow midmajors, who are also undefeated in conference, and have clearly better OOC records. That is a terrible seed, in that it would mean playing a 2 seed on their home court. If we win out, much harder than it sounds, even with Joe Foley at the helm, we might move up a seed or maybe even 2. But, a loss to anyone, except maybe USA, would pretty much guarantee we stay in the 15 spot. Getting to the 12th seed would be the ultimate goal, although very unlikely, since it would put us against a 5 seed on a neutral court (i.e. top 16 seeds host the first round).

Not that I didn't trust you, but I had to look that up myself- and, of course, you were right. The reality is our RPI (now #127) dropped with wins over #316 GaSt and #319 GaSou. Only decent RPI team in the Sun Belt is USA at #101. A loss to anyone in the league, other than USA, and we may end up a 16. A loss only to USA, and we end up a 15. If we actually win out, I have a hard time believing we won't be, at least, a 14. Of course, that is all assuming we win the tourney in New Orleans (or it's the NIT once again).

With regard to seeding, we'll almost surely end up higher than a 15 or 16 because of the upsets that will inevitably happen in a number of the midmajor conferences (as long as we aren't won of them). The lowest seeds usually go to the SWAC, MEAC, and upset winners in low to midmajor conferences.
