Clinton picked up the tab after Trump became the GOP's nominee. You guys are being played for fools! Why can't you see that.
Plus did you read above.
Other foreign intelligence services corroborate parts of it.
Actually this memo release is GREAT. People are going to look it up now. As long as people stay off of Fox News this is great for D's.
the charade will soon be over.
Love your optimism big guy.

So... Macabe should be arrested for lying to Congress. He says the FISA application would not have been granted without the dossier.

RE: Memo released!!!!
During the Republican primaries, a research firm called Fusion GPS was hired by The Washington Free Beacon, a conservative website, to unearth potentially damaging information about Mr. Trump. The Free Beacon — which was funded by a major donor supporting Mr. Trump’s rival for the party’s nomination, Senator Marco Rubio of Florida — told Fusion GPS to stop doing research on Mr. Trump in May 2016, as Mr. Trump was clinching the Republican nomination.

RE: Memo released!!!!
It was scrapped when it was apparent Trump was the candidate. Fusion shopped it around and Perkins Coie picked up the tab for the DNC. You forget that part.

Once again, Trump has been proven to be right. The election was rigged at the highest levels of the govt and the guy still won. Amazing story that continues to become more amazing.

While Trump and some Republicans have claimed that the dossier was behind the beginning of the investigation into the Trump campaign's potential conspiracy with Russia, in December 2017, former and current intelligence officials revealed that the actual impetus was a series of comments made in May 2016 by Trump campaign foreign policy advisor George Papadopoulos during a night of "heavy drinking at an upscale London bar" made to a top Australian diplomat in Britain. Papadopoulos revealed that he had inside information by bragging that the Kremlin had "thousands of emails" stolen from Hillary Clinton which could be used to damage her campaign. He had learned this about three weeks earlier. Two months later, when WikiLeaks started releasing DNC emails, Australian officials alerted the Americans about Papadopoulos' remarks.[87][88]
Other soon-discovered factors then played into the FBI's decision to investigate Russian interference and any role played by the Trump campaign: intelligence from friendly governments, especially the British and Dutch, and then the information about a trip to Moscow by Trump adviser Carter Page. Steele's first report was sent to Fusion GPS, dated June 20, 2016, and FBI agents first interviewed Steele in October 2016.[88] A year later, in October 2017, Papadopoulos pleaded guilty to lying to the FBI, and became a cooperating witness in Mueller's investigation.[87]
That means nothing. The FBI told the DNC thier server had been hacked by the Russian in 2015. The assumption they had damaging emails would be little more than a leap of common sense.

Is this the crux of the Russian interference? TBH, and given we know the extent our own gov't went to compromise elections in both allies and enemy countires...I see nothing major. Is that really what everyone is upset about? If that's it, then color me unimpressed. Hell, the story about John Kerry telling the PLO to defy Trump alone is unconscionable IMHO. Also I recall Ted Kennedy tried to get aid from the Soviet Union against Reagan

RE: Memo released!!!!
That was the dumbest thing I've ever read. It was so underwhelming I thought maybe a page or two was missing. That's what Trump and his criminal GOP members pinned their hopes on? Lol, okay.
The idea that a seasoned British intelligence officer with unique insight into the Kremlin's efforts to dismantle democracy around the world, and to Putin's leverage on Trump, would "like" the man and be neutral on his election is illogical.
The memo is largely devoted to discrediting the decision to monitor Carter Page because some percentage of the intelligence came from a source deemed to be prejudiced. The memo fails to discredit the substance of the case or deal with other justifications for monitoring Page.
It completely omits the fact that a conservative website called the Washington Free Beacon, funded by New York GOP hedge fund billionaire Paul Singer, hired Fusion GPS, which produced the Steele dossier.
It confirms the NYT’s scoop — which was that the counterintelligence investigation began BEFORE the FISA applications against Page. Papadopoulos was already under investigation. So Team Nunes is admitting that Papadopoulos triggered the FBI's Russia investigation -- not the Steele dossier.
This memo is the lamest attempt to distract from the fact that Trump is criminal that I've seen thus far. The GOP is also now complicit even further in Trump's obstruction of justice, especially after he uses this baseless memo to fire Rosenstein. Trump is an idiot, Nunes is an idiot, the GOP are idiots.

Yep. The Obama DOJ and Clinton/DNC hired a british spy to work with the Kremlin to derail an american election and prevent Trump from getting elected. Nothing to see here.

And your side lost. In THE most rigged election ever and your side still lost. The corrupt left is being exposed, from every angle, and it's about time. I'd suggest you go to your safe space and brace for impact.

Remember how schiff's justification for not releasing this had to do with sources and national security?
