Obviously things will change between now and next season but Kansas State, Missouri and ODU are the only top-100 RPI teams in the tournament.

This time last year Auburn and Clemson looked like lower tier P5 schools for the Charleston tourney. Both ranked right now. So you never know.

True. But I suspect the rest of the field won't be very good unless Northern Iowa takes a big step up. Eastern Kentucky really fell off from the days when they were battling Belmont for OVC superiority. Kennesaw State is no good. Oregon State is traditionally poor. Penn has a nice history but they've not seen the NCAA or NIT since 2007.

Sounds like a trip to St Thomas might be in the works.

I had heard that the Marriott Frenchman's Reef (HQ for tourney) was so damaged that they were closing for 2 years to do a complete rehab. I wonder where there is a lodging complex big enough to host all those teams plus fans.

Good question. The only time I have been there were a couple of cruises that made a stop. Don't know much about island hotels. If I get some info on accommodations I'll let you know.

RE: Paradise Jam 2018
We've been to the previous three. Stayed at a Holiday Inn on a beautiful inlet right across from the airport the first year (It's an independent hotel now). The last two we bit the bullet to stayed at the overpriced Frenchman's Reef to be where the "action" was!

Thanks Jerry. Keep me informed on what you hear!
