Happy for the W on the road.

Next up, at ECU.

I was pleased with the victory and happy for Azab that he scored his first points as a Tiger.

While there is a roster issue for talent, Martin can create his own offense at a fairly elite level among D1 guards.

If we had Martin and say... I dunno... Crawford and a couple of Lawsons, this would be a NCAA team no problem.

Uh, we had them, and we weren't.

One more year of development would have done it I think.

C: Parks / Enoh
PF: Lawson* / Thorton
SF: Lawson* / Davenport
SG: Crawford* / Jamal / Brewton
PG: Martin / Nickleberry

That looks a LOT better.
That looks like a 6 seed.
Martin would not have stepped up and become Martin if the Lawsons were still here.

I agree...

Martin showed flashes last year but would defer to the others.

That was awful, but it was a perfect match for whoever the color guy was that ruined the broadcast.

Great win, Tigers. I’m sure glad it was on ESPNN, since I don’t get CBSSN.

Azab needs to get into shape before he has a prayer of seeing decent playing time. Martin is a real D-1 player.

He has to lose like 50lbs so that maybe he can move...Right now he is a statue on defense

Sure that makes sense. Neither would Parks, Thornton, Enoh and Azab.

He has already lost a ton of weight. Maybe we need to hire Niles as the S&C coach.

It’s relative. Watching him playing with the other players on the floor. Martin is good. Not special, spectacular or whatever.

He has his moments but he is not a complete player yet...

If he develops a more consistent shot and he would be special next year... 20ppg scorer probably with a lower usage rate than he has this year.

Go back and see how many players have averaged 20ppg for us in our history. Hard to do. Conference play brought his numbers down this year and will next year too. I think he can be a great defensive player-he can get more deflections with his wingspan but has decided to put his efforts into scoring the ball.

You know you have no idea what you are talking about...

You just pull stuff out of thin air...

Martin averages more ppg in conference than he did out of conference.

19.0 in conference in 8 games
18.5 in all games (21)
So not a big difference in the stats. I was working off memory when he had two low scoring games in a row in conference.

You think he will average 20 ppg? You didn’t name those that did.

Uh, we had them, and we weren't.

They also didn't have a bench and played literally almost 40min a game . . . That would be a NCAA team, esp with this schedule. We are lucky that we only have to play some of the betters teams once this year, or else this could look even worse.
