He had a big sleeve on his shoulder and elbow last game. Wonder if it’s something to do with that.

Man, we badly need to recruit a true center. Adway & Knapke just getting exposed tonight.

56-47 Cards with 7:56 left. Rockets ball after the T/O. Had a couple chances the past 2 minutes to get this under 6 but couldn’t. Rockets have 7 fouls so Cards are shooting the rest of the way. They have 6 fouls. Basically getting beat tonight by 3 guys. Usually like my odds when it’s 5 against 3.

63-52 Cards. 5:40 left.

65-56 Ball State. 4 minutes left. Just can’t get any stops. I think this one’s over.

How many misses have we had right at the rim? Feels like 20.

Now maybe a few more people will see why I have been ranting for years now about recruiting a true center. Doesn’t have to be 7 feet tall. Moses is barely 6’9” but with his muscular build he just clobbered Adway & Knapke—scoring, rebounding and position on D. Maybe we’ve been lucky that other teams didn’t do that but I expect Adonis De La Rosa at Kent State and Thompson IV at EmU to watch tape & learn. Too much perimeter play and no real inside play for us. Get us a real center, coach.

Didn’t hear the final stats but I’m thinking we were out-rebounded by 10+. Sure seemed like it anyway.
