That is all.
It sounds like the Unloader Valve on the Pump. Pretty easy to get to and check out.

Wasn't that.. I pulled it. No issue. After the manufacturer tried to get me to pay a couple hundred bucks for a part that won't be in for months, I reached out to tech support, I have a warranty and a repair shop that is looking at it. Guy said it sounds like something in the water pump. He'd let me know.

When you find out please let me know. Our pressure washer started doing the same thing as yours. It's down at my brother's house and I haven't been able to pull the valve yet and take a look. Our's is about 15 years old. If I figure out the problem I will pass it on.

Sorry just now saw this.. Got the call yesterday.. It's a valve in the water pump that went out and apparently the wand had a leak that I would've never found out about had I not took it in.
All the parts are on back order and don't know when they'll be back in. Luckily since it's a year old, Home Depot told me to bring it back and exchange it.

Thanks for the feedback. I only know of two valves on the Pump, the Unloader Valve and the Thermal Relief Valve. My brother is going to drop the pressure washer off at my house tomorrow so I can look at it. Thanks again.
I just looked up some stuff. There's a few Check Valves in there. This will be fun.

I'm the only mod on CS/CR right now, likely have a major clean up on another forum coming, and we are in the middle of realignment hysteria. I hope to rejoin you guys in the near future. Summertime (absent forum mods) and realignment (Looney Tunes) are grinding my gears along with one contractor's tardiness, and a mom and mother-in-law both near 90. Love 'em, but they've used life to kill their husbands and now they're working on me!

It's so obvious black (& white too for that matter) drag queens in the entertainment industry are today's modern caricatures of vaudville acts. It only makes sense it didn't die out truly as those in charge w/ lots of money & power were able to repackage it.
It breaks my heart.

RE: What grinds your gears?
The neighbor.
Neighbor has a daughter the same age as my son. Daughter can't go outside by herself and must have an adult not for any reason but attention. I was informed this weekend that she was going to see a therapist because the girl's grandma (who is some type of child psychiatrist before retiring) thinks there's anger issues there.
This was said to me this weekend.. I didn't think before I spoke.. I said, she just needs that @ss whipped one good time.
The mother was mortified and let me know her mom had done extensive research on kids that were spanked vs those who weren't, and those who weren't were shown to be model members of society while those who were spanked ended up being losers and dependent on government. This girl is in her 30s, still lives with her mama and daddy, and seems to only date guys that have kids they never speak to and can't figure out why they won't go out more than one or two dates.
I looked at her and said.. My sister and I used to fuss, fight, and make up stuff on each other to get the other in trouble. So the rule was instituted if one got a whipping the other did too no matter why.. My sister used to not be able to sleep at night unless she got that @ss whooped. Neither of us have been to jail, have drug users, and we both have good careers.. Maybe we're outliers..
Wasn't long after that they went home.

You don't spank children to hurt them. You spank them to establish who controls the situation and to remind them that stupid or deceitful decisions have painful consequences.
Teachers lost the classroom when the teacher couldn't make a discipline problem bend over in front of the class that he/she was trying to run and make the unruly child take a lick, which showed the class that the teacher was in control. Who cares if the punk goes to detention or the principal's office! When the kid comes back, he still looks like a hero. When the teacher can make him bend over and take one the punk looks like an idiot, which is the whole point!
When a parent spanks a child, it merely reminds the child who is in control. A world where nobody is in control and rules are not obeyed is chaos. In ancient Israel chaos was considered to be the presence and dominion of evil. I can't say that I disagree.

RE: What grinds your gears?
Through junior high we sent our son to private (Cristian, primarily Baptist) schools. We had very clear expectations, but not a lot of overly burdensome rules. His schoolmates from obviously Evangelical families had lots of rules and parents obviously explained the proliferation of rules with, "Because we love you." So I'm fairly certain that at some point he got asked, "Why do you not have so many rules? Is it because your parents don't love you?"
He was obviously concerned about this, so he asked me one day, "Daddy, why don't you and mom have as many rules for me as my friends have?" My explanation was that when he was younger and daddy's belt came off, that was teaching him right and wrong, and now that he knew the difference he did not need all those rules. He replied, "Well, I didn't like it when you did that, but I sure am glad you did."

I've been a big supporter of public libraries even as fellow conservatives want to slash their budgets, but my goodness, so many woke books. History section: all America bad. Christian section: all Marxist Gospel. Social issues: All white fragility or LGBTQ. True Crime: All books on w/ race as main motivation.
I think I'll just go to the local Christian book store & buy something there.

I live in a liberal area.. The other day we went and I picked up two Brad Thor books and started reading one while my son played in the kids area.. A man asked me did I know what I was reading.. Said yep, it's a book..
No it glorifies violence and toxic masculinity...
Great.. All the things I am and love. Have a great day hoss.

I always wonder just how these ninnies think that they would be doing under Nazi, or Communist totalitarianism? Hitler youth employed all forms of fighting to instill a culture of violence and blunt the development of the conscience. If not for the toughness of the American male where would these pansies be? Dead or brutalized would be my guess! And the Young Pioneers (commie version of the Hitler Youth) were every bit as bad. Both operated under total Darwinian principles.
