Bingo! In today's world, you get blasted for this reality check:

1. UC doesn't have a win (yet) against a team likely to be in the tournament. It's February!
2. They don't have a win against a team in Sagarin's top 40. They've only played four games against teams in the Top 50.
3. Would they be 20-2 in the Big 12 or ACC? Most likely not.

This team has some concerns. That doesn't mean they suck. It just means, some don't necessarily agree with the pundits claim that UC is a "deep, offensive juggernaut headed to the Final 4" is a lock.

So you are going to die on the hill that UC isn't a final four lock? That's your point? That they have flaws?

This thread reminds me of the Democrats and Republicans arguing on whether Trump colluded with Russia or not. Let's wait until the end and see what the final result is.

If the Cats continue to win out and win the Conf and/or Conf Tourney and make it to the Sweet 16, some will be vindicated and they will come on this board with the "see I told you so" attitude.

If the Cats schedule shows to be fools gold, and they lose to Wichita St twice and lose out on a Conf Championship, or not make the finals of the Conf Tourney, then lose in the first weekend of the NCAA, others will be vindicated and they will come on this board with the "see I told you so" attitude.

Someone will be right. Someone will be wrong. But, let's let it play out. I will take the advice of some of my "friends" on this board and enjoy the season as it is happening and hope for the best.

More than likely we will be like our politicians and even know we were wrong, we will try and slant it as if we were right.
