The alt-left floated this same story back in June 2017. Nothing with mueller has changed since then (he is still there, and his sham investigation is ongoing), and yet here we are again.

They are attempting to plant the seed that once corruption is exposed to the point that mueller should and will be fired with cause, that when Trump does it, he is obstructing justice.

There is no"trying" to fire him. If Trump says he's fired, then he's fired. He doesnt need to "try" to fire him. Noone can stop him. The fact that Mueller remains means that Trump didnt fire him, or try to fire him.

He shouldn't have been appointed in the first place, so I would have no problem with him being fired except for the optics.

As I've said elsewhere, I'd be shocked and amazed that there had been no conversations about firing Mueller.

There's no longer an investigation of russian collusion. It's now all about, "what petty detail can I get someone to trip up on under oath so that I can then get someone convicted of something, anyone?".
