against the grain is awesome! i lived in louisville for a year and a half and fell in love with the place. they've done some tasty collabs w/ 3 floyds, hoof & upland (the overcompensation dipa being one of my favorites).

plus the bbq is top notch. i order the brisket with a side of cheesy grits every visit and damn is it delicious.

glad to hear it. brink is slowly turning heads around the city.

i was able to grab hoof hearted's sunday release (400 tickets sold out in 1 second), the flagship being the quadruple dry hopped konkey dong tripa w/ the matching teku:

Fwiw, Wiseacre and Memphis Made beat Ghost River in Memphis hands down IMO (although I am a fan of their Grindhouse cream ale).
A new one opens tomorrow - Crosstown Brewers.

Bearded Iris is great.

Also, Urban South in New Orleans just celebrated its two year anniversary.

DDH Holy Roller
Grapefruit Holy Roller
Modillion DDH IPA

Good stuff.
