Yeah unfortunately there are two halves and our team has been playing only one good half of basketball for most the season

Honestly I hope against hope that this team catches fire like to see the players win one for themselves right for nothing else but pride

I know I may sound like "Sunshine Steve" on steroids, but other than a couple teams, the MAC is a real mess of ordinary teams.

There are 8 teams with a 3 - 4 or 2 - 5 record after 7 games. A team goes on a 2 or 3 game win streak and they are in the hunt for the 3rd or 4th seed and the first round bye.

Sounds like Ellison is starting, per his twitter. Not sure who he replaces.

I suspect Murphy wants more scoring off the bench.

They (Zips @ Cardinals) are playing a classic in Muncie.

I'm not a gambler, but if I was I'd be all over Miami and the points. Are we capable of beating an average MAC team on the road? Yes. Have we shown any evidence that would justify favorite status in this case? No.

BSU wins in double OT. Each team was over 100 points...

Big, big changes for the starting lineup:

Ellison, P.J. (SG), Groce, JT4, and Nobles (PF).

So we have Minnie and Bond on the bench.

Thompson and Brown (MIA) having big games so far.

Miami looks clueless against the zone. Lots of passing around the perimeter with little movement. They're winning because they've drained at least 5 contested three pointers. Keep them out of the paint, and we should be ok.

Also, they can't guard Thompson, so hopefully we keep feeding him.

Such low video quality. Miami really needs to catch up with the rest of the conference and invest in a better ESPN3 experience.

I noticed that about the zone. Their coach is a rook(ie).

The refs are letting them play. Lots of contact on both ends. Wish more crews were like this.

The zone is working against this newcomer (to the MAC) coach, but our offense is just as clueless as theirs. We might as well just throw the ball to Thompson as often as you can and hope for the best.

Down 1 at the half. Should be up by a lot, but we have been atrocious offensively. Minnie has been invisible. I don't understand why Murphy has McAdoo buried on the bench. He's one of the few guys on the roster that can get to the basket off of the dribble. Might as well see if he can play. Can't be worse than Minnie and Jackson have been.

BTW, Ivey goes off for 49, erasing the arena record held by a couple of players named Wells and Boykins.

Think Wells and Boykins had the record at 41.

Meanwhile, EMU WBB is in OT on the road at Buffalo, fighting to continue their climb in MAC standings.

Maybe I should just focus on watching them this season. They're over-performing so isn't much room for a let down in contrast to Murphy's team...

With a gazillion fouls to give. Why we let them even get a shot off when they were just standing out there is beyond me. Little things like that separate good coaches from ones on the hot seat.
