Providence
Arguably the biggest weekend of the regular season, at least in terms of pairwise rankings and Hockey East positioning. Really gutsy comeback to tie 4-4.

Down 3-1 and 4-2 in the 3rd period, we tied it up with Adam Guadette's nation leading 19th goal and 39th point of the season at 40 seconds left in the game. Couldn't win in OT, but a nice comeback vs. the #10 team in the nation.

Tomorrow night we play them again, this time in Providence. Still having huge PWR and HE implications, this is an extremely important game. Go NU!

Agreed. Real gutsy comeback.

I watched the last 5 minutes of regulation and the OT.

What more can ba said about Gaudette, he’s a f’ing stud.

Going to be tough to go down to Providence to get a win, but it can be done.

RE: Providence
Saturday night at Providence capped off the NU “unlucky weekend” as we dropped a tough 2-1 loss in OT.

Two fluke, lucky bounce goals by the Friars gave them a 3 point weekend.

Followed NU hoops unlucky bounces at the line and failing to grab key rebounds at Drexel.

And like hoops, hockey got screwed on what looked like a game-winning goal that was waved off because the Friar goalie’s mask came off. Next possession they score ...

One bright note, Freshman Cayden Primeau played magnificent. Wasn’t his fault.
