But I wonder if this thread gets the same response and views as the thread about Hillary shielding a friend/advisor from sexual misconduct allegations? I think both threads started about the same time. Kronke already is asking for Dems to disavow in that thread, but I don't see him here in this thread saying Wynn is a sleaze.

I think it would depend on whether Wynn was shielded or disavowed by republicans. He already resigned, which looks a lot like disavowed.

See, the issue is not a differentiation between Wynn's despicable behavior versus Hillary's friend/advisor's despicable behavior. It's the difference between republican reaction and Hillary's reaction to such behavior.

Correct, this the Wynn allegations is completely different from the Hillary/Strider allegations, which turned into Hillary protecting Strider, which enabled Strider to pull the same sh*t again later and finally get fired by someone who gave a damned.

Wynn's allegations are in the past, and are allegations.

Striders allegations came as he was serving under Hillary, and Hillary did nothing but to try to get the accuser out of the way to protect Strider, who kept his job.

Its sad that libturds want to keep abusing women, but if the young interns wont put out, then they just need to shut up and go away.

The DNC is pushing for any candidates that got money from Wynn to return it.

They better be careful of what they are asking for. Cause someone will show up accusing Soros of the same thing, and if all the libturds had to return money they received from him, it would be instant death of the party.

I think the same thing happened with Weinstein but I don't recall if they gave money back.

ETA** they gave the money to "charities"

There's a caveat here though Owl, we have no way of knowing who knew about Wynn and for how long. Sure, now that it's public he quickly resigned, but.... Additionally, it's a much different climate now then it was even just 1 year ago.

In your words, we have no way of knowing. We don’t even know that the allegations are true at this point. With Hillary it continued after it was known. That’s a huge difference.

Known to her and people in house...or to the general public in a climate like the present?

All I'm saying.

So it’s okay as long as word doesn’t get out. Gotcha. I would feel the same way about Wynn and republicans if 1) the allegations are true and 2) they were known in-house. But that’s two things that in your words we don’t know about. We do know about Hillary. And that’s pretty weak sauce from the party that lionized Ted “Blonde in the Pond” Kennedy.

RE: RNC Finance Chair, Casino Mogul, Steve Wynn Sexual Misconduct
A couple of thoughts on this: 1) Any GOP politicians who knew or strongly suspected that Wynn was sexually assaulting women should be treated as scum - 2) Wynn exited shortly his scandal broke so that's a good move by the GOP (assuming they pressured Wynn to leave) to sever ties - 3) Personal contributions that Wynn made to politicians should be donated to charity.

Ho hum....

Quote:The Republican National Committee is keeping donations from its former finance chair Steve Wynn until state regulators in two states complete their investigations into allegations of sexual misconduct made against him.

When allegations of sexual assault were levied against movie producer and Democratic donor Harvey Weinstein last year, the RNC publicly called on Democrats to return his donations. So far, the RNC has declined to return contributions from Wynn, who donated $375,000 to the committee late last year alone.

So the GOP is occupied largely by pragmatists is what you're saying. Oh yeah, did the DNC in fact immediately redirect Weinstein's donations?
