J.B. Permanent Head Coach?
Should the Grizz remove the interim tag on J.B. Bickerstaff? Seems like some in the Grizz organization are actively campaigning for J.B..

Verno had J.B. on his show yesterday. Then Pete chimed in on twitter last night:

Watch the segment with JB and you'll see why I think the Grizzlies should eventually name him the permanent head coach going forward. Thoughtful, disciplined and requires accountability. Great stuff here.

Brevin has also said he supports Bernie getting the job full time.

What say you?

Heck yeah. He kept the team together when it seemed we were splintering. He’s figured out a way to take a cobbled together Frankenstein of a team with 2/3rds of its best talent missing and compete winning 5 out of the last 6 at home. He seems like a class act as well with good experience. Sign him up

Sounds fair. I'm still deciding.

Thought J.B. did a good job taking over for Kevin Mchale. Rockets were a mess, Harden hated Dwight and vice versa. But at the end of that season, J.B. took himself out of consideration for the full-time job. Weird situation, full truth will probably never be known.

Not sure J.B. is an X&O's specialist, but player relationships are more important than coaching genius in today's NBA.
