I've lost 28 lbs. since around Thanksgiving, but my goal is to get back down to my college weight around 195 (I'm 6'2") so I have a long way to go. I was 301 on November 12, which is the first (and last) time I've ever hit 300.

..... and Shake just hit another 3.

now you do realize that people hate UC up in here because of your posts, right?

If you realize it and don't care, ok, carry on. Just wanted to make sure you understood cause and effect...

I’d call it trolling

Posts like that are all in good fun. It's easy for most to see the difference (of course, I'm coming off a 3 day ban for posting the Missouri Valley Conference Sunday schedule, so what do I know?).
Very simple. You were inviting their fans to come here and troll the AAC fans. If you want to do that put it on the smack board or go to their board to talk.

If that was the determinant, then I get it. It was fully aimed at Shocker fans, and in good fun. I wish we'd have similar measures aimed at a few posters who completely derail thread after thread, but unfortunately I'm not the arbiter of that.

That's how I took it and was genuinely interested in the feedback from American fans after watching the Valley play. Valley teams aren't nearly as athletic as some American teams but they play very hard and are well coached. There's also a LOT of hot shooters that can burn you with mid-major bombs. The MVC is known as a "guard league" as the best big men go to better conferences. There really are a ton of 6'3ish guards who can ball coming out of HS every year. A 6'9 baller, not so much.

Looks delicious! I can't wait until I'm finished with this low carb diet and can drink something other than Miller Lite and straight liquor. 28 lbs down, 73 to go. 04-cheers

Just kill yourself now. Low-carb? Pffffttt.

Take it from a guy who's been training his entire life. You don't need to manipulate your macros or hit the gym to lose weight. You don't even need to eat that healthy. Just cut back on the stuff you're cramming into your pie hole. It's all about calories in vs. calories out. And the calories out should be in the way of very moderate exercise. Got nuts in the gym and you'll only stimulate your appetite and overeat. You've gotta run hours on the treadmill to erase that Big Mac you ate for lunch. Eat salads, chicken, fish, etc. and account for every single calorie you eat on something like My Fitness Pal. Keep yourself in a mild caloric deficit each day with an occasional cheat meal (not cheat day) and say hello to your new body 6 months from now.

Once you hit your target weight, then you get serious in the gym and start building muscle which will help you reset your body's weight "set point". You've gotta keep the weight off for at least 3 years for the "new you" to stick.

You're welcome.

Signed,

CB

Compared to similarly successful conferences like the A10 and Mountain West, I've always enjoyed watching Valley teams. Unlike those other two, I feel like the MVC always had a somewhat cohesive identity.

Shake Milton just hit another three.

The Shake joke has some serious legs. It will always be funny.
Kind of like in football I always say Navy just scored again

Yeah..... there’s that.
