That was really bizarre to see. He just blew up at our player out of nowhere.

Bizarre is correct. I wonder if a public apology will be issued ?

Here is a clip of the incident :

I doubt it, but the conference office should look into it and possibly issue a one game suspension.

I remember Phil Johnson at Rice when he was the San Jose State head coach. Just to be sure I wanted to make sure it was the same guy so I looked him up on Wikipedia, and apparently he had several issues there with his temper too (including one notable example on the road at UTEP ironically). I do recall him being a bit of a hot head.

If they could suspend him for the rest of the season, that would be appreciated.

He's coached what 14 games and has been kicked out of two of them. Now this. So, yes, a hot head. Hopefully, it at least solidifies him not becoming permanent.

Any potential HC names being tossed about by the fans and/or El Paso media ?

Based on their Football HC hire, look for someone who failed miserably last time they were a HC and has done okay as an assistant at a decent school recently.

Two potential names I gave heard are Greg Foster, former UTEP assistant coach and currently with Milwaukee Bucks. 2nd one is Steve Forbes, current head coach at east Tennessee state

Steve Forbes would have UTEP back up with the top tier of C-USA in a hurry. He would be a great hire.

MU's Penava in early foul trouble and another Big Janson Williams in the locker room with an ankle injury. We are running out of bigs!

Halftime in Ruston...Tech 57 USM 27

And that is with Bracey and White not dressed out for Tech.

Tech shooting 70% (21-30) with 11-18 from 3-point range.

Tech up 57-27 over USM at the half. We can't miss from 3 and USM doesn't have any post players

Middle holds UTEP to 17 first half points.

UTEP actually only had 8 points with three minutes left in the first half. A combination of MT D and poor shooting by UTEP.

40-34 halftime ODU up

Far as I'm concerned, Charlottes player, Murphy is the reason this is a game at all

We’ve only got 3 players over 6’5” and none of those 3 are D1 talent. NAIA or JuCo talent level at best.

Yep - strange to see a team less post players than us and we are shooting 3's way over our head so far tonight

That Draper shot was super clutch for NT. FIU made that win tough tonight.

If you went to bed early you missed UTSA taking it to @UAB, leading start to finish.
