To tell you the truth the loss sting but I'd rather have UB lose a game bacause of fouls now than in Cleveland. They needed a lesson..

It was the due theory in full effect.

UB was due to lose. Congrats to Kent St. They forced the issue

Fun night in the MAC. The two leaders take a ding in each division. Very interesting... Cards gutted one out tonight. Seems like addition via subtraction, as they have been very focused these last two games (with maybe less distractions?) on the gritty o-boards and defense, overcoming poor shooting with a lot of 2nd chances. Concerned still that tired legs will catch up with them in the end, but right now they are a fun team to watch again.

Ohio may need to start recruiting players from Ping.

Toledo shoots over 70% in the first half and is up 24 vs. Bowling Green at the break, 54-30.

Yea it really is looking like (REVISED, SEE BELOW!)

classic let down games for UB and UT. The thing to watch is does it humble them a little and give them a push to keep getting better or is it the beginning of a slump? Kent is dangerous.

Kent is really good and they are just two games out of first. They seem like a team that is just beginning to hit their stride.

I expect bounce back performances from UB and Toledo. The Bulls get their shot Friday night on CBS Sports Network. Sounds like they are expecting close to a sell out for the game.

The UB-Kent game was hardly a letdown game for the Bulls, if by that you mean that they came into the game at all complacent and over confident. They put on an intense offensive clinic for the first 18 1/2 minutes. Both teams battled back and forth and UB maintained a double digit lead until there was about 7 minutes left. That game was a toe to toe battleā€”UB shot over 55% for the game, including 42% from 3, but just came up short in the last few minutes in a game that could have gone either way.

Nothing like losing a double overtime game on a foul. Oy.
