RE: AAC Tourney Bracketology (02/12/18 update)
Take away those 4 losses and they're obviously a top 35-40ish team.
I think the more interesting question is where would they be seeded including the Tulane and Memphis losses? A real indicator of the AAC's perceived strength.

You take away those 4 losses and they're a top 25 team.
team 1-
tier 1 3-5
tier 2 4-1
tier 3 7-0
tier 4 5-0
SOS 11
OOC SOS 19
team 2-
tier 1 2-3
tier 2 7-1
tier 3 5-1
tier 4 5-0
SOS 56
OOC SOS 67
team 1 is what Temple would be. Tier 2 is Wichita. Wichita is ranked right now #19.

RE: AAC Tourney Bracketology (02/12/18 update)
Feb 12 Team Sheets Avg Rank
1 Virginia 1.5
2 Villanova 2
3 Purdue 5.2
4 Cincy 5.5
5 Duke 7.5
6 Xavier 7.7
7 Kansas 8.8
8 Mich St 9.3
9 Texas Tech 9.5
10 Auburn 10.3
11 UNC 10.7
12 Clemson 12.7
13 Ohio St 14.7
14 Tennessee 15.7
15 West Va 17.8
16 Wichita St 19.3
17 Gonzaga 19.7
18 Rhode Island 21
19 Arizona 21.3
20 Creighton 21.8
20 A&M 21.8
22 TCU 23.3
23 Kentucky 24.7
24 Oklahoma 24.8
24 St Mary's 24.8
26 Nevada 25.8
27 Butler 27.3
28 Miami 27.7
29 Michigan 28.3
30 Florida 29.8
31 Seton Hall 31.3
32 Florida St 32.5
33 Houston 34
33 Louisville 34
35 Arizona St 34.3
36 Missouri 36.5
37 Alabama 38.2
38 Arkansas 39.5
But on the Feb 12 seedings released by the committee, Cincy 8th and Wichita did not make the Top 16.
So the "human judges" are dinging us again compared to the computers, just like what the football committee did to UCF.

That’s funny because their 16 teams they picked were the same except for WSU, which was replaced by #24 Oklahoma..

Well West Virginia wasn't picked either, but Arizona was. WVU has plenty of reason to be upset over committee taking Oklahoma considering WVU swept them.

As of now Cincinnati has compiled an impressive list of solid wins but they desperately need a marquee win (top 10 team) to earn some respect by the committee. Unfortunately there are not really any remaining on the schedule. To put it in perspective, Buffalo on a neutral court is our best win right now according to the RPI.
Sweeping @Houston, @WSU, and WSU would position the Bearcats well for a #1 seed but even losing one of those knock them out of the #1 seed conversation without that statement win.
If Cincinnati had won @Xavier and lost to Houston for example, I think the Bearcats would be in the #1 seed line right now.

He had some bad shooting nights on the road...one of which against a top 10 team....during the 4 game losing streak. I dont think a momumental nosedive is accurate for a guy still averaging 27 pts a game over his last 5.

Yah but how many shots is he throwing up? How have his assist and turnover numbers been going?
He was 0 for 9 from 3 last night with 6 turnovers.

He looked beaten down last night. I wish we caught him at his current state. He's losing all his hair too. The boy needs a break.

Well that couldn’t be a worse quarterfinal matchup for WSU.
