RE: The Ranking of Presidents
Any list that has Obama higher than Coolidge is a turd list. JBJ and Wilson anywhere near the top 20 is an insult also. IMO...Both should be in the bottom 10. Wilson...damn near dead last. Getting us into WWI was maybe the biggest blunder of any POTUS in history.

Any survey that ranks Obama 12th isn't worth the digital space it occupies.

I'm not a historian on all of them and couldn't give a list going all the way back to George worth 2 cents but I easily put Obama at 12... among the last 12. Carter giving him a damn good race.

Their list is garbage.

Here are my lists...

Top 5
1. Washington- No Washington, no USA.
2. Jefferson- Founded the Jeffersonian Republican political philosophy, which is the first incarnation of modern conservationism.
3. Lincoln- Ended slavery.
4. Eisenhower- Established the national highway system. Too bad we haven't maintained it.
5. James Monroe- Adam Onis Treaty, the Monroe Doctrine, and added 5 new states.

Worst 5
5. G. W. Bush- No Child Left Behind (when Ted Kennedy is standing over your shoulder and smiling as you sign a Bill into Law, you know you are making a big mistake), and the Patriot Act (Was worried it would become a corrupted partisan tool. Although it has evolved into the USA Freedom Act, it appears those powers are being abused). John Roberts. Housing Bubble. Unemployment. North Korea policy.
4. L.B. Johnson- The master of stirring up the important dead vote. The Draft. Escalating the Vietnam Conflict. Rising inflation due to Vietnam.
3. Clinton- NAFTA. Don't ask don't tell. Whitewater. Monica Lewinsky. 141 pardons on his last day as President. Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Stephen Breyer. North Korea policy.
2. Carter- Oil Crisis. Inflation. Unemployment. Iran Hostage Crisis. Gas shortage.
1. Obama- Obamacare (Never in the history of the USA have Americans ever been required to purchase anything, until this completely un-American Law/Tax). DACA. Sonia Sotomayor. Elena Kagan. Hate Crimes Prevention Act (Completely unnecessary law. Criminals were already being convicted and sentenced for their crimes. Motive is irrelevant). Economic stimulus package. EPA policy. Alternative energy subsidies. Globalist view over American leadership. Iran deal. Circumventing congress, and usually the will of the public, through the use of Executive Orders. North Korea policy.

It’s an ok list. I’d grade Obama a little bit lower but not much. I can see how this list is ordered based on the perspectives of historians.

tough to argue how you arranged the top five....

however, I easily take Clinton out of the bottom 5.....in my lifetime I replace him with Nixon due to his bs "war on drugs".......that one singularity is why we have many issues that exist today.....that SOB was as dumb as a fk'n rock....

at least Clinton understood economics......Nixon was easily the more destructive slime.....

The Ranking of Presidents
One who rarely makes either list but accomplished a lot was Polk.
