Yes, I am often a smartass. One of my many faults.

But, since February is 10 days away, and posters keep referring to a February signing day for basketball that doesn't exist, seems pertinent to point that out, no?

Well I didn’t call you a smart azz. You did. But yes I get your point about there is no signing period for basketball in February. I simply want to know if Tubby will land a good recruiting class for 2018 or not

If so, it won't be done in February.

Again, not answering his question. How do you feel about our recruiting prospects for APRIL

When did that become the question? Hometown's thread is about whether or not to buy in. Which every Tiger fan has the right to answer any way they want to.

Joe asked you a question. Do you need someone to read it to you? The OP didn’t mention any February signing period and you apparently don’t have a problem talking about that..

Come on man, are you hoping for points on being a smart aleck? The main and real part of the question still remains.

Well congrats on earning the very name you called yourself.

We have established that the recruiting period isn’t in Freaking February. Now, can we discuss what is more pertinent? What kind of class do you think Tubby will sign? Not WHEN he will sign them, but what kind of players do you think we (Tubby and new staff or whatever) will land?? Is Tyler Harris a pipe dream or a good possibility? I’m thinking we end up with more than the two available scholarships to offer. Can we discuss these things? I believe them to be way more important than what month the actual signing period is.

Ok then. Maybe someone else might want to answer. I for one am very interested in the recruiting class. I see you don’t have an interest in it, or you don’t want to talk about it. So, have a good one man.

Tyler Harris in my opinion is viewing Memphis as a fall back plan in my opinion. We screwed he pooch and there's just no other way of looking at it. No recruits of caliber have any interest in us. They see that the fan base based on attendance has no faith in tubby. The recruiting of the locals, and ineptitude by the staff has turned many local prospects and their handlers off I'm.

I don't think Harris is using Memphis as a fallback at all, and neither are any of the other top recruits in the city or country. They know something that a lot of tubby supporters don't seem to understand, which is at this point none of them are coming to play for Memphis as long as tubby is the coach. I honestly believe that PENNY has an entire recruiting class literally on standby waiting to follow him to Memphis or wherever he goes. Why else haven't more of those players committed to any other schools,,,think about it. Bowen has to know this and is just being disingenuous and
Or naive about Tiger hoops and tubby Smith future here, or he truly thinks that the Memphis fan base is stupid and doesn't recognize a garbage when we see it 03-banghead

This is what you get with tubby. A nice little scrappy team that will always make you think that they have a chance by winning the little battles or getting a small winning streak occasionally (fools gold),,, but you'll never be in or have a chance to be at the levels that Memphis fans know are possible. 07-coffee3

I was being nice on the Harris subject. We ain't getting him or any other locals at this point while tubby is here. It would take a miracle, because these recruits obviously want Penny. Tubby should suck his pride and hire Penny as a lead assistant/coach in waiting. This contends on them burying the hatchet.

Yep, that is where we lost the game. Down 2 with the ball and we imploded. i think Martin had 2 straight turnovers, starting with the bad pass against the half-court pressure. We MIGHT have been able to make another run, but one Martin went out our offense was screwed.
