Yep and it would be the first time UC has ever won 30 in back to back seasons. Would love to at least set the all time UC mark with at least 32 wins.

Won the AAC Regular Season, Tournament and locked in a 2 seed. What a disappointing season.

Even more sunlight...Xavier may have to play the best player in college basketball who is finally at full health with absolutely no film to scout. Love it.

Finished the year 6th in RPI, 4th in Pomeroy, 7th in Sagarin, will be once again ranked in top 10 in both polls, regular season title, conference tournament champs, POY, a COY, 2 seed, back to back 30 win seasons for the first time...it keeps on getting better.

Most accomplished Bearcat team since 2002 with a chance to accomplish more than even that team in the next two weeks. Very special season.

Just a wonderful season. I am not nervous about losing in the tournament. Only one team wins the last game. I just have had so much fun watching these great ambassadors to our University, that I don't want the season to end. Just goes by so darn fast.

Lots of Vitamin D yesterday to go around. Baby was asleep, so I ran up and down the street screaming my head off. This team has accomplished a lot with more opportunities to come.

Its so nice to watch it happen. When Gary was a freshman you thought "man by the time he's a sr he'll be something special." Then when Jake was a freshman it was "when Gary is a Sr and Jake is a Jr we might have a pretty special team." Then Cumberland's freshman year and more of the same.

Then to watch them go out there and actually do it. It feels so damn good.

Well put. It’s been a heck of a lot of fun this year. Hopefully fans appreciate how great this year has been.

Great summations all. I think it can't be understated...our program survives and thrives outside of the P5 cartel. I love watching "3 star" guys develop, grow and mature into great basketball players. Kenyon Martin embodied this nearly two decades ago and to witness guys like Jason Maxiel, Eric Hicks, Dion Dixon, Sean, Troy and Gary (among others) has been awesome and very satisfying. I can't wait to see the atmosphere next season in the new digs against "that team up north I-71." But I digress, first things first...let's keep riding this supernova wave through the weekend!

Add this to the growling list of accomplishments detailed in this thread:

I believe 31 wins in the season ties the all time school record. Going for #1 all time on Sunday.

Let's add this one to the list: Largest blown 2nd half lead in the history of the tournament!

And then he quits. But he'll be back to tell us how smart he is and how stupid we are. I guarantee it.

Gonna start bumping this thread again-- and hope that it ends better than last time:

24-4
2nd in conference (1 GB)
RPI - 18
NET - 22
KenPom - 30
Sagarin - 26

AP Poll: #23
Coaches Poll: #22

I know, I know...we're all waiting for the tournament. But for the third consecutive year it appears we'll conclude the season as one of the top 25 teams in the nation. Not too shabby.

I totally agree. But pardon me while I set the bar very low for the tournament. That way there’s no disappointment.

I’m happy for this year with what we have. I care very little about what happens next.
