What Trump supporters think one year later

CNN showed that? Omigosh, then there's still hope for our country. All of them were happy with Trump and they said it on the ultra-liberal CNN.

What it says is that finally, people (at least in middle America) are fed up with politicians not putting Americans first and they are willing to live with a bit of crass talk if the policies are aimed at "America first".

.......and Youngstown has been historically about as Democrat party as you get - totally run by Democrats forever.

Btw, pretty close to where Mach is from........those people in the clip used to be just like Mach......

Gives me a bit of hope........then I read about the horseshit in California with sanctuary cities.

The New York Times ran a similar editorial. It seems to be an orchestrated effort to bring some sanity back into the Democratic ranks as we head into the midterms.

Remember James Carvile's battle cry to Clinton......"It's the economy..Stupid!!"

People vote with their stomachs. The Dems. are going to pay dearly because they now believe that people vote on social issues. They are DEAD wrong...and stupid.

It really does appear that the National Democratic Party has become a one issue, one focus operation. Illegals now, Illegals tomorrow, Illegals forever. I don't know how well that plays outside of California and New York....

That is what I am hoping. So much hope they continue down the current path, believe their biased poles, and in November, don't gain anything......

RE: Democrats for Trump: Buyer's Remorse?
For those who think that people actually care if Trump said $*!&hole.

And for those who think standing by illegals is a winning strategy.

In Pennsylvania, women who voted for Trump voice support after first year

Quote:“My 401(k) and my 403 have soared, and if anybody doesn’t realize that, they’ve been asleep for a year,” said Miller, a 50-year-old emergency room nurse from Audubon, Pennsylvania, referring to her retirement accounts’ growth in a booming stock market.

“I look overall not at what he says but what he does. All that other stuff is just rhetoric, smoke and mirrors,” she added.

Quote:In interviews with more than half a dozen Trump supporters in the region, mostly women, his backers remained largely committed to him, citing his immigration policies and a belief that tax reform will create jobs amid a growing economy. Many of them were unfazed by Trump’s combative style and provocative language.

Quote:“I really think they need to build a wall,” she said of Trump’s proposed Mexican border barrier. “I think they need to send back all these people that aren’t supposed to be here, because they’re taking jobs from Americans.”

While most people have compassion for the social issues they are not going to vote that policy if it's going to affect them in a negative way.

I don't care what race you are you really don't want more people competing for your job. That's why Trump out performed in ever race and became President. It was why the polls were wrong.

Those screaming the loudest are not the hard working families. Those working don't want to pay a penny to help someone come to America when their family is not getting that help.

Anyone that thinks the hard work Hispanic family that is here legally wants more competition for their jobs...is foolish. They also would rather not see it on the news 24/7 because it affects them. The same goes for the black working family and the white working family....

everyone is tired of seeing part of their pay check go to help support everyone but their families. I think the % is very low for those families that don't want to help the needy...true needy. But also wants someone that is looking out after their wants and needs.

It's why we elected President Trump.

But when it comes to the democrats and republicans in the house. Both parties are playing a dangerous game. So it might be easier to win in a state election for a democrat when that republican is still playing as the party politician instead of getting behind why they voted Trump

This post makes sense.

As Dems and Reps became increasingly "establishment" they moved away from the everyday, common Joe.

Americans have been realizing that more and more lately, but the politicians still operate under the failed assumption that we don't get the clandestine games they play.
